Key Cyber Security Stakeholders Unite to Protect Asia-Pacific’s Critical Industries from Cyber Threats.

CS4CA APAC, the first Cyber Security for Critical Assets summit dedicated to Asia-Pacific, launches in Singapore, 25th-26th September 2019. IT and OT security experts examine emerging trends of IT and OT security convergence and assess the best practices for safeguarding critical assets and industrial control systems from cyber threats. The 120+ attendees are senior professionals representing APAC’s critical industries, including: Agriculture, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Aviation, Transport, Energy, and Forestry.

With the consensus being that cyber attacks are inevitable, almost 3 in 5 (59%) manufacturing organisations across the APAC region are delaying the progress of digital transformation projects due to fear. But in so doing, the region is lagging behind in leveraging advanced technologies such as AI, cloud and IoT, and missing opportunities to increase productivity, empower their workforce, and deliver new service lines. CS4CA APAC is the collaboration platform bringing the expertise needed to start shifting this trend.

Through keynote presentations, real-life case studies, panel debates, roundtable discussions, and 6+ hours of networking time, attendees will discuss current their security challenges and extract actionable insights and solutions from 2 dynamic days.

Key themes include cyber security approaches for OT environments and legacy systems, risk assessment and risk identification strategies throughout businesses’ digital transformation journeys, and best practices for upskilling, attracting and retaining cyber security workforce.

CS4CA APAC is curated by a steering committee of industry experts, such as the Global Cyber Security Officer at Huawei, the IT/OT Security Operations Analyst at Origin Energy, and the SCADA Specialist at Lower Murray Water.
